Day 0 at Beach, Please! 2025: An Epic Kickoff with Surprise Appearances from Swae Lee and Young Thug. The Artists Lived the Beach, Please! Experience—and Loved Every Second of It
Costinești was buzzing with energy from the very first moments of Beach, Please! Day 0 kicked off with explosive vibes, indescribable emotion, and a symbolic moment: as the gates opened, thousands of fans ran in, hearts racing, stepping into their ultimate freedom zone—their generation’s favorite festival.
And the surprises didn’t take long to roll in. Though officially scheduled for Day 1, American superstar and Grammy- and Emmy-nominated artist Swae Lee made a surprise appearance on the Essence Stage. He performed alongside Romanian artists like Albert NBN and Azteca, and was greeted with overwhelming enthusiasm by the crowd.

But Swae Lee didn’t stop there—he explored the entire festival, guided by Selly, just like a true fan. He grabbed an ice cream, took a few shots, joined brand activations and activities around the venue, stepped onto the basketball court and even scored. In short, he experienced everything Beach, Please! has to offer—and gave it his stamp of approval: “It’s super fun! Love the vibe here.” It was a powerful confirmation that Beach, Please! isn’t just about concerts—it’s a complete experience.
Another unexpected moment was the surprise appearance of Young Thug, who also hit the stage to a roaring crowd. These international artists didn’t want to wait—they dove into the Beach, Please! atmosphere starting with Day 0.
One of the highlights of the evening was the spontaneous on-stage encounter between Swae Lee and Selly, the festival’s co-founder. The two hugged in front of the audience, and Selly then gave the artist a full tour of the grounds. Swae Lee was blown away by the energy of the Romanian seaside and the passion of the crowd.
For fans of the genre, Swae Lee’s appearance is a milestone moment for the trap and hip-hop scene. Known as half of the duo Rae Sremmurd (alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi), he has topped the Billboard charts with iconic tracks like Sunflower, Unforgettable, and Black Beatles.

Swae Lee’s official performance will take place on Thursday, July 10, on the Main Stage—a world-class platform worthy of a global headliner. It’s the largest stage ever built for a European festival, featuring a massive LED setup and a total investment of €1.2 million.
Other artists who lit up Wednesday night included Shift, rareș, Johnny Romano, Rava, Noua Unspe, and Albert NBN—all greeted with cheers and applause from an ecstatic audience.
And this was just the beginning. Four more days of incredible music lie ahead, with hundreds of artists, jaw-dropping stages, and a production that transforms Costinești into the European capital of festivals.

Beach, Please! 2025 is off to a powerful start. See you at the stage!
